Something poisonous hides under that shell. Acid hovers over the battlefield like a great blue beetle, its teal and green hull rounded and armored, with dark windows and a row of vents along its side. Hanging from its belly is a cluster of thick green tubes, each glowing with bubbling fluid.
It moves slowly, almost carefully, as if afraid of spilling a single drop. The Ziefin use it to crack fortresses that laugh at ordinary weapons.
The soul inside was a chemist who invented a cleaning formula so strong it was banned on her homeworld. She took it to the Ziefin, who offered her the chance to Uplevel and carry her work wherever they went.
Its signature attack is the Acid Rain, powered by its big special attack. The tubes tilt and release a fine glowing mist that settles over enemy ships. Their armor bubbles, hisses and peels away like old paint.
