Ochre and olive armor turns Adler into a flying fortress. Its long body is lined with green armored panels like the windows of a train, and a glass dome sits on top, glowing pale blue as it scans the horizon. Turrets jut from every side, firing golden shells downward, while bright jets of cyan fire push it from behind.
Adler is a Guardian of the Cosmic Collective, and defense is its greatest strength. It escorts convoys, guards relay stations, and takes the hits that would break smaller ships.
The soul inside was a train conductor who drove the same mountain route for forty years. He knew every curve, every tunnel and every passenger's name. When his line was shut down, he Upleveled. He still thinks of every ship he escorts as a passenger.
Its signature is the Lookout Volley. The glass dome spots threats long before anyone else can, and the turrets fire in a wide spread to drive them back. If anything gets through, it hits Adler's armor first. Adler is slow, but nobody on its route has ever been left behind.
