A small golden probe hangs at the center of a huge glowing ring, and together they are Ringwatch. The ring is rimmed in gold and white, and pale lightning crawls across the empty space inside, linking the hoop to the tiny ship at its heart. A red lens glows at the probe's nose like a watchful eye.
Ringwatch barely moves. It does not need to.
The mind inside was a clockmaker who believed every second mattered. She chose to Uplevel because she wanted more of them. The ring gave her that, and more.
Her special attack is the Stop Ring. When an enemy flies through the hoop, the lightning grabs it and slows its clock until it hangs in place, frozen in a single moment. The Cosmic Collective uses Ringwatch to guard the most important gate to The Directory. Ships that try to rush it end up waiting a very long time.
