Boxy, purple and plated in slate grey, Grape Shot carries a glowing round emblem at its front. Its long hull is built for punishment, with a smooth roof and a slanted nose. Streams of white and pink fire stream from its guns in every direction, and bright streaks cut through the sky above and below it.
Grape Shot is a Fighter for The Capital, a patrol ship that keeps the peace in crowded city lanes. The glowing emblem is a badge, and everyone on the frontier knows what it means.
The soul inside was a city patrol officer who walked the same beat for twenty years and knew every shopkeeper by name. When the city moved into space, she Upleveled to keep walking her beat.
Its stats are well balanced, with special attack its sharpest edge. Its signature is the Scatter Volley. Grape Shot fires in every direction at once, a spray of pink and white rounds that fills the space around it like a burst of grapes. Nobody can sneak up on it. Its tough hull takes the punishment while it holds the peace.
