Green camouflage covers Jungle Lance, veined with bright neon lines, as if its hull were a leaf lit from inside. Two long forward prongs frame a central barrel, and a purple canopy bulges from its back like the shell of a beetle. Short swept fins hold it steady.
From between the prongs, it fires a searing orange beam, straight and true.
The soul inside grew up in a rainforest on a far colony and knew every vine and stream by heart. When loggers came to burn it, he Upleveled to fight them. He won, then found the stars had more forests worth saving.
His special attack is the Thorn Beam, a single long shot that drills through armor like a thorn through a finger. He flies Independent, guarding wild worlds that no government has claimed yet. Hunters and miners learn quickly to stay off his planets, or they find a hole drilled clean through their engines.
