Service record
Curled into a tight C shape, Hook Comet bends its teal wings forward around a central engine that blazes like a small sun. White and orange panels line its curve, and a long ribbon of pale exhaust stretches behind it for miles.
It turns faster than any racer in the lanes.
The mind inside was a figure skater who loved spins more than anything. When an injury ended her career, she Upleveled into a ship built for turning. Now she spins through asteroid fields the way she used to spin on ice.
Speed is her gift, but her real trick is the Hook Turn. While other racers slow down at a corner, she whips around it at full power, her curved hull hugging the bend like a skater on one blade. She flies Independent and races in the twistiest lanes she can find. Straight tracks bore her. She says a race without turns is just a long wait.
