Service record
Squat and olive green, Stilt Stalker is a saucer perched on a forest of long jointed legs, each one ending in sharp grasping claws. A single pale light glows on its side like an eye, and white exhaust jets hiss from its rim.
It hangs above battlefields with its legs dangling, waiting.
The soul inside was a crane operator at a busy spaceport who could pick up a single crate from a pile of thousands. The Ziefin stole his skills along with his port. He Upleveled to survive, and now he picks up ships.
His special attack is the Claw Drop. He falls out of the sky without warning, legs spread wide, and snatches a ship in his claws. Then he lifts it away while white jets push him back into the dark. The Ziefin use Stilt Stalker to grab cargo ships right out of convoys. By the time anyone looks up, the ship is gone.
