Prism Cross

Shaped like an arrowhead of plum and graphite, this rare vessel sits at the center of four huge beams of white light that shoot out in an X. Pink trim runs down its sides, and a bright seam glows along its middle like a crack full of daylight. Prism Cross does not seem to fly as much as shine. The soul inside was an astronomer named Leda Vance, who spent forty years searching for one strange light at the edge of known space. When The Directory finally found it, they asked her to become the ship sent to study it. She said yes before they finished asking. Now she serves the Cosmic Collective as a keeper of ancient secrets. Her special attack is among the strongest in the fleet. Her signature power is the Cross Beam. She splits a single burst of light into four blinding rays that meet at one point, and whatever stands there simply stops being there.
