Star Digger

Built like a giant mining machine, this explorer rolls on a wide tank tread lined with glowing orange lights. A long yellow digging arm reaches out from its body, ending in a toothy scoop, and two big engine pods glow gold beneath it. Its navy blue hull is thick and rounded, made to take a beating. Star Digger works for The Capital, searching asteroids and dead moons for the rare metals that build new colonies. The soul inside was a miner named Dalia Cruz, whose family dug coal for five generations. She wanted to dig somewhere new, somewhere no one had ever touched. The Uplevel gave her the stars. Her defense is very high, built to survive cave ins, meteor storms and the odd surprise in the dark. Her signature power is the Core Strike. She drives her scoop deep into the rock, charges it, and splits the asteroid open to show the treasure hidden inside.
