Violet Vector
A purple blur with a black turbine for a heartbeat, it does not take the corner so much as fold it out of the way.

On the racing loops around the outer moons, a purple streak arrives first and leaves first. Violet Vector is long and low, trimmed in amber stripes, with a glowing red intake on its side and a round black turbine set into its flank. Its nose narrows into a sharp yellow tip.
The mind inside grew up sweeping the stands at those same races. He memorized every corner from the cheap seats. When a retiring champion offered him the chance to Uplevel into her old ship, he said yes before she finished the question. He races as an Independent, for no team and no sponsor, only the next finish line.
Its signature power is the Fold Line, born from its blazing speed. The black turbine bends space just ahead of the nose, letting it cut through curves that other racers have to go around. Rivals have filed complaints. Officials have searched the ship. They found no rule it breaks, only a racer that refuses to slow down.
