Spark Plug

Squat, striped and crackling, this black brawler is banded with bright red rings like a racing engine. Its body is blocky and heavy, two golden thrusters glow at the back, and forks of yellow electricity pour from both ends, splitting wildly across the dark. A small fin juts up from its back like a raised fist, and a single red light glows on its side.

Spark Plug is not elegant, but it is tough, it is loud, and it loves a crowd. It flies for the Cosmic Collective, always right in the thick of the fight.

The soul inside was a boxing coach who ran a gym for kids with nowhere else to go. He believed everyone just needed a spark to get started. When the Collective offered him a chance to Uplevel, he picked the ship that could literally give one.

Its signature attack is the Overcharge, powered by its strong special attack. It slams into the enemy and blasts out a ring of lightning that fries their systems on contact.
