Service record
Silent as velvet and twice as smooth, this racer slides through space like a shadow with a glow. Velvet Phantom is long and rounded, deep purple and wrapped in fine pink lines that ripple along its curves like light on water. A single red eye glows at its nose, and bright pink streaks trail behind it like ribbons.
It moves almost lazily, until suddenly it is not there anymore.
The soul inside was a stage magician famous for one trick, vanishing from a locked box in front of a full theater. She never told anyone how she did it. When she chose to Uplevel, she took the secret with her. She races Independent now, and she loves a crowd almost as much as she loves leaving one confused.
Its signature move is the Curtain Call, built on its high speed. The pink lines flare, the ship blurs into the dark, and it reappears several lengths ahead.
