Service record
It clings to a glowing mint green sphere like an insect riding a pearl. Orb Rider wraps its blue and red body around the orb with golden joints and thin limbs. Long golden rods stretch behind it, tipped with cyan flames, and a black spear juts forward beneath. Blue and red antennas fan out from its head like a crown.
The orb is not just a seat. It is the ship's power core, and it gives Orb Rider one of the strongest special attacks in the fleet. When it charges, the orb glows bright, and the black spear fires a lance of light that can punch through a cruiser.
The soul inside was a jousting champion at a festival world, riding mechanical horses for the crowds. When she Upleveled, the Cosmic Collective gave her a mount she could never fall from. She is fast, fierce and loyal. She charges first into every battle, lance down, antennas blazing. The rest of the squad follows her light.
