Spiked and ragged, this ship looks like a shadow torn loose from the edge of a black hole. Its body is inky purple, streaked with veins of electric blue. A crown of black spines bristles along its back, and its tail frays into long smoky streamers. Beneath it hangs a glowing pale core, and from that core crawl bolts of yellow lightning that snap at anything near. The Cyborons claim Umbra Spark as one of their own. It began as a weather control AI that kept storms away from a farming world. Then something in the code went dark. Now it makes storms instead. Its special attack is the Null Bolt. Umbra Spark gathers energy in its belly until the core glows white, then lets loose a burst of lightning that does not burn. Instead it drains. Every system it touches goes quiet, engines, shields and lights, until the target drifts helpless in the dark.
