Curved like a crescent moon, Crescent Prism hangs in the indigo dark in bands of red, orange and gold. Its upper horn ends in a hooded cockpit with a dark vent grille. Its lower horn flattens into a broad blade, and three thin black claws dangle from its belly. Between the two horns burns the heart of the ship, a bright white beam that splits into three.
The pilot inside was a lighthouse keeper on a stormy moon. For years she watched ships crash on the rocks because nobody listened to her warnings. So she stopped warning and started building. When her crescent was finished, she Upleveled into it and flew away from the rocks forever.
Now she works alone, taking contracts from anyone who pays fair. Her weapon is the Trident Beam. One shot fires from the centre, hits the inner prism, and splits into three, one straight ahead and one to each tip of the moon. Enemies who dodge one beam fly right into another. Her special attack is powerful and precise. She still shines a light. It just hurts more now.
