Sun Reliquary

Coils of maroon and gold wrap around this ornate vessel like the bands of an ancient chest. At its centre burns a blazing golden core, ringed by glowing gold lamps and twisted bands of cream and copper. Two fan shaped wings stand tall at its rear, ribbed like old shields, and soft clouds drift around it as if it carries its own sky.

Sun Reliquary guards the oldest vault of The Capital, a library of records from the first human colonies. The mind inside was a museum keeper who spent her life polishing relics nobody visited. When the vault needed a guardian that would never sleep, she volunteered to become it.

Her signature power is the Solar Relic. The golden core gathers starlight for hours, then releases it in a single radiant burst that blinds raiders and burns through their armour. Her special attack is mighty, and her healing light keeps the vault and its allies whole. She is slow and stately, but she never leaves her post. Every relic she guards still has a story, and she knows them all.
