Service record
Shaped like a flying fortress wall, Crenelater has a magenta hull stepped and notched along the top like the battlements of an old castle. Orange armor bands wrap its lower body, and at its center glows a brilliant white core that pulses with heat. Streams of tracer fire pour from its towers.
The soul inside was a stonemason who rebuilt ancient castles on Earth before the Uplevel age. He loved the idea of walls that protected people for a thousand years. When he Upleveled, he became one.
His special attack is the Core Flare. The white core in his center builds heat until it bursts in a wave of white light, blinding and burning everything in front of him. His towers keep up a steady storm of tracer fire, covering every gap. The Capital builds its new colonies behind Crenelater. As long as he stands, they say, the walls will hold.
