Service record
A pink and violet pod trailing a bundle of black cables, Gooticord carries a tool at the end of every line. One arm loops forward holding a glowing lantern, while the others stretch out behind like the tentacles of a curious squid, each tipped with probes, drills and tiny green lights. A small jet of yellow fire nudges it along.
Gooticord is an Explorer for The Capital. Its job is to find out what is out there before anyone else gets hurt finding out. It sends its cables into caves, wrecks and storms, and it reads everything they touch.
The soul inside was a museum guide who loved every exhibit and wanted to touch them all. When she Upleveled, she asked for as many hands as possible.
Its strongest stats are heal and special attack. Its signature is the Probe Lash. Every cable snaps out at once, wrapping a threat and draining power from it through the drills. That same power can flow the other way, recharging a friendly ship in trouble. Gooticord is not a warrior. It is the friend you want when the lights go out.
