Plato

Shaped like a giant armored glove, this guardian flies fist first. Its round navy palm is laced with glowing cyan lines, like a map of every star it has protected. Short fingers curl around a bright white beam that blasts forward from its center, and small fins flick out from its knuckles. Plato is named for an old Earth thinker, and it acts like one. Before it was a ship, it was a judge named Amara Nwosu, who settled arguments between whole planets. She chose to Uplevel when a war broke out that no court could stop. If words could not keep the peace, she would hold it with her own hand. She now serves the Cosmic Collective, standing guard over The Directory's inner gates. Her defense is strong, but her special attack is her real gift. Her signature move is the Open Palm. She raises her glowing hand, and a wall of white light pushes every attacker back.
