Rex

Rex is all jaw. Its red and black hull splits down the middle into two armored halves, and between them gleams a long row of bronze teeth. Yellow tipped cannons jut from the upper and lower plates, and a white blast of exhaust shoves it forward with a grunt.

The ship looks like a bully. It is not. Rex flies with the Cosmic Collective, and its job is simple: get between the monsters and the people they are hunting. Nothing about it is fancy. Every stat sits right in the middle, steady and balanced, which means Rex is good at everything and afraid of nothing.

The soul inside was a junkyard mechanic who fixed old haulers for free when families could not pay. When a raid hit his moon, he Upleveled into the toughest frame he could find. He still talks to his engines like old friends.

Its signature move is the Iron Clamp. Rex charges, opens wide, and snaps its jaws shut around an enemy ship while both cannons fire point blank. It is its strongest special attack, and once those teeth close, they do not open until the fight is over.
