Plating the color of dried wine wraps a jagged blade of a ship. Its spine is lined with serrated teeth, and pink vents glow along its back like embers. A bulging red sac hangs beneath its hull, threaded with dark veins, and it pulses like a heart. At the front, a glass dome shows a living pink brain steering every move. Hot white bolts fire from its sides.
Hades is a Cyboron, but not a pure one. It was built when a rogue machine captured a human pilot and fused the two together. The machine wanted a mind that could dream up new attacks. It got one, and the pilot never got out.
Now the brain and the machine argue in the dark. The special attack comes from that red sac. It stores heat from every fight, and when it is full, Hades lets it all out in a blast that melts armor into slag. The pilot hates the machine. The machine needs the pilot. Neither one will let go.
