Boxy and bold, Neon Lancer arrives as a pastel brick of hot pink, slate and silver. Its blunt nose is a glowing grid of lime and pink circuitry, and from that face fire volleys of bright magenta beams. Thick armored panels stack along its sides, and a small lime light glows on its roof like a single watchful eye.
Neon Lancer belongs to the Cyborons. It started life as an arcade machine on a pleasure moon, running games for children. When the moon shut down, its little program kept running alone in the dark for years. One day, it decided to leave.
No human soul ever joined it. Neon Lancer Upleveled itself, building its own body out of the wreckage of the arcade.
Its strongest stat is special attack. Its signature is the Pixel Storm. The circuit face lights up in a flashing pattern, and a burst of magenta beams fires in a spread like a fan. Each beam bounces and splits, filling the air with pink light. Neon Lancer treats every battle like a game it fully intends to win.
