Service record
At first glance it looks like a floating workshop. Tiger Coil is a squat brown barge striped like a jungle cat, crowded with copper domes and fat cylinders. Each dome wears a ring of glowing blue light. From the tallest one, a crown of pale lightning shoots upward, splitting into long white threads that wave through the dark like hair in the wind.
The mind inside was an inventor who built storm towers to power cities. She chose to Uplevel the night her last tower fell, so she could become the tower herself. Now her whole body hums with stored power.
Its special attack is the Coil Crown. The lightning threads reach out and grab every enemy ship nearby, then send one huge jolt through all of them at once. Tiger Coil serves the Cosmic Collective as a field generator. When the shields of the fleet run low, it plugs in and lends them its storm.
