Service record
Long and blocky, Black Bullion does not look built for speed. Its black slab sides are trimmed with gold rails, and a red panel sits on its flank like a wax seal. Two small lamps on its blunt nose glow like watchful eyes. It looks more like a vault than a racer.
Then the rear engines light. Twin columns of yellow fire shove it forward so hard that the stars behind it smear into streaks. Even its nose spits a jet of flame.
The soul inside was a bank courier who carried treasure between worlds and never once lost a load. He Upleveled to carry bigger things faster. Now he runs secret cargo for anyone with the price, an Independent who keeps every promise.
Its signature trick is the Gold Rush, a burst so fast that Black Bullion is across the finish line before the flag finishes waving. With speed like that, armor is just a bonus.
