Like a bird of prey made of dried blood, Sporebeak glides through the purple dark. Its maroon hull is dotted with glowing green pods, round and soft like seeds waiting to burst. Its nose curls down into a hooked orange beak, and a small glass dome on its head shows tangled machinery inside. Thin blue beams lance from its underside as it flies.
The soul inside was a gardener who grew poison plants for medicine. The Ziefin found her lab, took her seeds and gave her a choice. She chose to Uplevel and join them, and now she grows weapons.
Her special attack is Bloom. Sporebeak drops its green pods onto a target. They stick, swell and burst into clouds of glowing spores that eat through armor and jam enemy sensors. The blue beams light the way, painting each target so the seeds land true. Raiders follow her because where Sporebeak flies, defenses rot away.
