Service record
A long emerald blade of a warship, Ratcliffe cuts through the red sky. Its hull is striped with bands of pale mint and deep green that ripple like the scales of a fish. Gun ports line its edges from bow to stern, and a small red dome rides on its spine like a lookout.
When it turns broadside, every gun fires at once. Bright tracers race upward, and a shower of orange sparks spills from its flanks like a waterfall of fire.
The mind inside was a harbor master who kept a busy port safe for forty years. He Upleveled when his port went to the stars, so he could keep watching over it. He is calm, strict and fair.
His special attack is the Emerald Broadside, a wave of firepower so wide it can wall off an entire lane. The Capital stations Ratcliffe at its busiest trade gates. Ships that follow the rules pass under his guns without fear. Ships that do not, never try twice.
