Service record
Like a curious insect, Moth Scout drifts through a cloud of golden sparks. Its long, slender hull is lime and mint green, with soft pink fins at the back and a small round mouth at the nose. Long black feelers sprout from its back and belly, each one tipped with a tiny glowing bead.
It seems to taste the space around it, turning toward every flicker of light.
The mind inside was a shy boy who spent his nights outside, watching moths circle the porch lamp. He wondered where all light came from. When he grew up, he Upleveled to find out.
His special power is the Feeler Sweep. The glowing beads on his antennae can sense heat, sound and hidden energy from far away, even through walls of rock. The Cosmic Collective sends Moth Scout ahead of the fleet into places no one has charted. He maps them, gently, and sends home a glowing trail for others to follow.
