Here is a crescent of flame, and its name is Heritage. Its curved hull is layered in feather shaped plates of red, orange and gold, forming a sweeping arc like a sunset folded in half. From the hollow of the curve pours a wide beam of white light, rushing outward in long, bright streaks.
It rarely fires at anything. Mostly, it shines.
The mind inside was a historian who spent her life saving old stories from vanished worlds. She Upleveled so the stories could fly with her. Now every feather on her hull holds a memory.
Her special attack is the Remembrance Beam. The white light carries the history of every world she has saved, and when it hits an enemy, it shows them those memories. Fleets have stopped fighting and turned away, ashamed. The Capital treats Heritage as a living library and a ship of peace. When she arrives, wars often end without another shot.
