Picture a cage of dark armored ribs wrapped around a soft, glowing core. That is Heart Vault. Its black and charcoal frame is dotted with small red lights, and through the gaps glow pale yellow panels and a warm pink center that pulses slowly, like a beating heart.
It hovers in place more than it flies, steady and strong.
The mind inside was a father who held his family together through a terrible war. When the war came to the stars, he Upleveled to hold together something bigger. He still thinks of every ship he protects as one of his kids.
Defense is everything to him. His signature move is the Vault Lock. The ribs close tight around the glowing core, and a pink shield spreads outward to cover every ship nearby. Lasers splash off it like rain. The Cosmic Collective places Heart Vault at the center of every rescue mission. Nothing gets to the injured while he stands guard.
