Think of a slick navy streak. Ink Tadpole has a rounded head with a glowing orange eye at the nose and a small fin rising from its back. Behind it trail two long, thin tails that waver like the tail of a tadpole, leaving plumes of rusty vapor in its wake.
It slips through the racing lanes with an easy wiggle, almost too fast to see.
The mind inside was a young swimmer who won every race at her school, then every race in her city. When there were no more pools left to win, she Upleveled and went looking for bigger water.
Her speed is unmatched. Her signature trick is the Ink Slip. She wiggles both tails at once and shoots forward, leaving behind a cloud of dark vapor that blinds anyone close behind her. She races Independent in the fastest lanes she can find. Rivals say she is small, slippery and impossible to pass.
