Drill Sergeant

All points and attitude, Drill Sergeant tapers into a long striped drill of brown and olive. Its blunt rear is crowded with armored plates, dark pods and short spikes. Cream colored panels frame its cockpit, and from its back a burst of guided missiles curls away across the sky, trailing thin smoke.

The soul inside was a tough training officer who turned scared young recruits into brave pilots. She barked a lot, but every pilot she trained came home. When she Upleveled, she kept barking.

Her special attack is the Drill Charge. She fires a swarm of missiles to crack enemy shields, then spins her drill nose and rams straight through the gap. She is tough and loud and never gives up. The Capital uses Drill Sergeant to train young ships in real battle. Rookies grumble about her orders, but they all agree on one thing: she has never left anyone behind.
