Something is still growing in there. The slate grey shell of Brain Husk is split with glowing green cracks, and through a wide gap in its belly you can see an orange, folded brain resting in a cradle of yellow light. A single green eye burns near the crest. Long blades sweep back from the hull like claws that never finished forming, and a thin green spark spits from beneath its jaw.
Nobody chose to Uplevel into this ship. The Cyborons found it adrift, an empty hauler with a mind already inside, though no one could say whose. It does not answer hails. It only listens.
Its weapon is the Static Bloom, a wave of thought pushed out from the brain itself. Powered by its fierce special attack, the wave floods enemy sensors with noise until screens fill with snow and crews forget which way is home. Then the blades go to work, slow and certain.
