Four angled pink legs grip the void as if it were solid ground. Above them rises a domed purple shell, etched with fine swirling lines, and underneath sits a grey engine block packed with vents and hatches. From a round barrel at its front bursts a cloud of brilliant green plasma.
Plum Beetle is not fast, and it does not try to be. It serves the Cosmic Collective as a living wall, planting itself in front of whatever needs protecting.
The soul inside was a school bus driver who once kept a busload of children safe through a flood, holding the wheel for six hours straight. When the Collective heard the story, they offered her the chance to Uplevel. She said she would do it if she could keep protecting kids. Now she guards refugee convoys.
Its signature move is the Shell Stand, built on its towering defense. She digs in, the shell glows, and blasts slide off her like rain off a roof.
