Service record
It does not dart around a battle. It shoulders through it. This maroon fighter is stacked in heavy, angled plates like a fortress folded into a smaller shape. A slanted canopy on top shows a pink brain resting behind the glass, and below the nose a quad barreled cannon roars with orange fire. Thick fins hang underneath like landing legs, and a single white light glows at its brow.
Crimson Cortex flies for The Capital, usually right in the middle of the line. The brain behind the glass belongs to a retired squadron leader who chose to Uplevel when her body grew too old to fly. She was not ready to stop protecting her people.
Its signature attack is the Four Hammer, a rolling burst from all four barrels driven by its strong special attack. She fires in short, patient bursts, never wasting a round, the way she taught a whole generation of young pilots to do.
