Sun Kraken

A burning star with arms spreads across the void. Sun Kraken is a vast fan of orange, yellow and red, layered like the petals of a flower or the rays of a sunrise. At its center glows a single red eye inside a metal ring, and from its edges reach long curving tendrils, each tipped with a sharp point.

It drifts slowly, but nothing escapes its gaze. It is huge, as wide as a small moon, and the Behemoths count it among their eldest.

The soul inside was an astronomer who spent her whole life staring at the sun through a telescope. When she grew old, she wanted to stand closer. She chose to Uplevel into the Kraken and spread her arms toward the light.

Its signature attack is the Solar Gaze, built on its huge special attack. The red eye gathers the light of nearby stars and focuses it into a single searing beam that melts anything in its path.
