Two huge round turbines carry this ship. They have white shells with dark faces dotted by glowing cyan lights. Between them sits a small orange and white body with a pink brain peeking out from a hatch. Rings of pale blue energy whirl around the engines so fast they blur into halos. At first glance it looks like a toy. Then the rings start to spin.
Spin Cycle has the fastest speed rating there is. A perfect ten. When the turbines open up, it leaves a blue streak across a whole sector before anyone can track it. It cannot take much of a beating, so it never lets one land.
The soul inside was a delivery kid on a crowded city world, zipping packages across rooftops on a hover scooter. He was always late and always grinning. When he got the chance to Uplevel, he picked the fastest hull in the catalog. Now he races for prize money in the outer lanes, owes nobody, and is never late again.
