Moon Lancer wraps its blue body around a pale green orb that glows like a small moon. Golden limbs and red joints grip the sphere tight. A long black lance points forward beneath it, and a bundle of golden rods stretches behind, each tip burning with cool cyan fire. Red and blue antennas spray from its head like a plume on a knight's helmet.
It looks almost exactly like a famous Cosmic Collective ship, and that is no accident. Moon Lancer was built from the same plans, in the same shipyard, on the same day. But it chose a different road.
The soul inside was a jouster too, a rival who always placed second. When the Collective chose someone else, he Upleveled anyway, on his own coin, and rode off as a knight errant. Now he roams the frontier defending villages too small for any faction to notice. His special attack is a lance charge that splits shields in two. He rides for honor alone.
