Service record
Sweeping through the green sky on a long crimson body, Ruby Fang raises tall swept fins that reach backward like flames. Cream colored panels break up its armor like old scars, and jagged prongs dangle from its belly like claws. At its snout, a glowing green beam coils into a spiral as it fires, wrapping around itself like a vine.
Ruby Fang is a Ziefin raider with a mean streak. Its special attack is strong, and the spiral beam is very hard to dodge. It curves, it twists, it follows. Ships that try to escape find the beam curling around them like a snake.
The soul inside was a jewel thief who stole only rubies. She was proud of her collection and prouder of never being caught. Then she was caught. The Ziefin bought her freedom in exchange for a ship and a promise. Now she raids for them, and she still takes her pay in rubies. Some say her hull is painted with the dust of every ruby she has ever stolen.
