Hull #0704 · Guardian class · Cosmic Collective
Camo Keeper
Scaled like an old dragon and patient as a mountain, this camouflaged wall can take a fleet's worth of fire and still be standing at sunrise. Camo Keeper does not move.

Service record
Patches of moss green, olive and rust brown cover a thick armored hulk whose plates fit together like the scales of an ancient reptile. Camo Keeper has a sharp dorsal fin jutting from its back and a tail fin trailing behind. At the front, a glass dome holds a pink brain, peering out over a heavy jaw.
Its defense is close to the best in the fleet. Camo Keeper does not need to be fast. It hides in forests on jungle moons and among rocks in asteroid belts, blending in perfectly, then rises up when enemies come close. Its special attack is a heavy blast from its jaw that knocks attackers back.
The soul inside was a park ranger who guarded a rainforest for thirty years. She knew every tree and every animal by name. When poachers came, she stood in their way. When she Upleveled, the Cosmic Collective gave her a forest to protect again, this time a whole moon of them. She still knows every tree by name.
