A short barrel at its front shines with soft green light. Against a warm yellow sky, it looks steady and patient, built to stay.
Jade Tripod is a Guardian of the Cosmic Collective. It lands on moons and space stations and plants its three legs deep. Once rooted, nothing moves it. Its defense is high, and its special attack fires from the front barrel in a steady stream of green energy that pins attackers in place.
The soul inside was a gardener who tended a famous orchard of ancient trees. When a storm destroyed the orchard, she replanted every tree herself, one by one, over twenty years. When the Collective asked her to Uplevel and guard small colonies, she said she knew a thing or two about protecting things that grow slowly. She still talks to every colony like a gardener talks to a seedling.
