A shark built for war cuts across the pink sky. Its long jaw is painted rust orange and cream, and two rows of gold teeth line the open mouth. Purple fins sweep back like knives, and a pale glass orb glows at its tail. Deep in its throat sits a burning eye. When it opens wide, a beam of yellow fire roars out and melts anything in front of it.
This is Jaw Breaker, a raider of the Ziefin. The soul inside was once a dock worker who spent every day hauling cargo for richer crews. One night he chose to Uplevel, and he never went back to the docks. Now he hunts the fat cargo ships he used to load.
His Throat Cannon is his pride. It feeds on his special attack, the strongest thing about him, and one long blast can carve a freighter in two. He is not fast. He does not need to be. He waits with his mouth open and lets the prey come to him.
