Orb Serpent
It coils like a river of jade and bites with a captured sun, and once it opens its jaws the dark has nowhere left to hide.

Service record
Long and winding, this serpent ship twists through the blue void like a ribbon of green water. Its scales fade from emerald to turquoise, and each one is etched with pale swirling lines like the rings inside a tree. Golden spikes jut from its head and tail. Crimson tendrils flutter behind it. At its mouth it holds a blazing orb of white and pink light, crackling with blue lightning.
Orb Serpent flies for the Cosmic Collective as a watcher of the far gates. The mind inside belonged to an old star mapper who wanted one more adventure before her time ran out. She Upleveled at ninety and woke up young, fast and very long.
Her Sun Orb is her greatest power, fed by her towering special attack. She can hurl it like a comet or hold it close to light up a whole sector. Pirates who spot the glow at the edge of the map turn around before she gets close.
