Hunched and armored in midnight blue, this ship crawls through space on long barbed legs. Each leg ends in a hooked orange claw. Copper cracks run along its shell. On its back sits a huge dome of bright electric blue, ribbed with lines like a living brain. Thin green trails of light loop behind it wherever it goes, like a tracer drawn by an invisible hand.
Mind Beetle is one of the Cyborons, and it is one of the strange ones. The soul who Upleveled into it was a scientist who studied memory. Something went wrong in the merge. The ship's brain grew bigger and louder, and the scientist became a quiet passenger inside it.
Its power is the Mind Lash. Driven by its high special attack, it reaches into the minds of nearby pilots and tangles their thoughts. Enemy ships forget their orders, turn in circles and drift into its claws. Its thick shell keeps it safe while it works.
