Honey gold and round as a ripe fruit, this ship looks like a hive built for war. Its hull is stacked with thick armour plates in amber, olive and rust red. Six bright hexagon portholes cluster on its nose like the eyes of a great bee, and a stubby tail fin keeps it steady as it drifts through the bright blue sky. Nothing about it is sleek. Everything about it is sturdy.
Amber Vault was once a beekeeper named Oren, who spent his life guarding small, busy colonies on a farm moon. When the Uplevel call came, he asked for one thing: a body that could protect a whole city the way he once protected a hive. Now his calm mind hums inside every plate.
Its strongest gift is defense. When danger comes, Amber Vault locks its hexagon cells into a Honeycomb Bulwark, a shield of glowing gold panels that soaks up cannon fire and spreads the heat across the hull. The Capital parks it beside new colonies while they build, because nothing gets past the hive.
