Long lavender points burst from a glowing white core, so the ship looks like a cosmic flower in full bloom. Pale gold trim edges every petal, pink engines tuck into its sides, and three small blue lights twinkle at its tip like dew. Against the deep blue void it turns slowly, a living star with blades for petals.
Inside that core lives Selia, a botanist who once grew gardens on bare asteroids. She chose to Uplevel after a solar flare burned her last greenhouse to ash. Now she does not need a greenhouse. She is one.
Star Bloom carries the highest special attack of anything in its wing. When it opens fully, the core gathers light from nearby suns and fires it out through every petal at once. The Collective calls this the Corona Burst, a ring of white fire that blinds swarms and cuts through shields. Afterward the petals cool to soft violet, and Selia drifts on, quiet again, guarding the lanes that lead toward The Directory.
