Pale blue and smooth, this ship looks like an instrument built for a cathedral among the stars. Its long curved hull is dotted with round portholes and a vent grille along its side. From its belly and back sprout dozens of rounded tubes, pointing in every direction like the pipes of a great organ. A small pink light glows at its nose, and thin antennae trail from its tip.
The soul inside is Elias, once the keeper of a grand music hall on a Capital world. He tuned its organ every morning for sixty years. When the hall was finally closed, he chose Uplevel rather than let the music end.
Cathedral's special attack is the Grand Chord. Every pipe fires at once, sending out a deep wave of sound that shakes enemy ships apart and stops missiles in midair. The Capital uses Cathedral for ceremonies and for war, and Elias treats both the same. Every note must be perfect.
