Service record
Long and sinuous, Dreader swims through the void like an eel made of storm clouds. Its body ripples in shades of royal blue, tapering into a ribbon tail that sizzles with white lightning. At its head a crimson snout cracks open, spitting pale beams of energy that trail out like whiskers.
Dreader is one of the scariest Monsters the Ziefin ride with. It is fast for its size, and it hits hard. The raiders do not command it so much as follow it, staying far behind its tail.
The soul inside was a lighthouse keeper who loved storms more than anything. When the sea rose over his tower, he chose to Uplevel instead of leaving. He wanted to become the storm. He got his wish, and he has not been calm since.
Its strongest power is the Tempest Coil, a special attack that builds in its tail. Dreader whips around, cracking the lightning like a lash, and every ship nearby lights up with blue fire. Then the red snout opens and the pale beams finish the job.
