Rings of glowing teal energy wrap around Howler, a white blade of a ship. Its silver hull tapers to a sharp point, with dark engine stacks at its rear, and around its middle spin bright circles of light like ripples on a pond. From its nose spits a line of red fire, while a long yellow beam lances down from its belly.
Howler flies with the Cosmic Collective, usually far out ahead, where the scouts go. It is quick and sharp, and its special attack is its best weapon by far.
The soul inside was a singer who lost her voice in an accident. She Upleveled to sing again, and the ship gave her a voice that shakes stars.
Its signature is the Resonance Howl. The teal rings spin faster and faster until they release a wave of sound that space should not be able to carry. Shields wobble and pop. Sensors scream and go dark. Then the red and yellow beams slip through the gaps. Allies have learned to cover their ears whenever the rings begin to glow.
