Julian

Lime and teal angles stack into a wedge that seems to be all engine. At the back, the hull flares open into a giant golden exhaust bell, and when it fires, the glow is so bright that rivals see only a sun racing past. Two thin lasers trail from its belly like tracer lines. Julian kept his own name when he Upleveled. He was a street racer on the orbital rings of Halo Nine, banned from every official track for being too fast and too rude about it. The Uplevel was his way of finding a track nobody could ban him from: the whole sky. He races for prize money, for bragging rights, and sometimes just for the feeling. He belongs to no fleet, though plenty have tried to sign him. His speed is near the top of the Armada. His signature move is the Sunburn Pass. He drops in front of an enemy, opens the exhaust bell to full, and blinds every sensor for three seconds. Three seconds is a lifetime to Julian.
