Rudy

Instead of the sea, Rudy sails the stars, a friendly blue submarine with a wandering heart. Its rounded hull is banded in pale and dark blue, with porthole lights glowing along its sides and a red tipped nose cone at the front. At its stern a tall propeller spins slowly, and soft white light glows from its engines.

Rudy is an Explorer for the Cosmic Collective. It goes where the maps run out, into dust clouds, ice fields and the black between galaxies. It is not fast and it is not loud. It is patient.

The soul inside was a lighthouse kid who grew up reading sea adventures by lamplight. He dreamed of a submarine that could go anywhere. When he Upleveled, The Directory gave him exactly that.

Its strongest stat is heal, tied with special attack. Its signature is the Sonar Bloom. Rudy sends out a slow ring of sound that maps everything for miles, finds hidden dangers and gently repairs friendly ships it passes through. When forced to fight, the red nose cone fires a focused sonic pulse. Mostly, though, Rudy just wants to see what is out there.
